The 2017 National Music Tribute Award winners were recognised at a dazzling ceremony at Athena earlier this month. The awards organised by Champions UK Plc are in their second year at Athena and celebrate the tribute music industry from artists, production, management companies and live events. Athena’s large built in stage and in-house lighting equipment was the back drop to the many performances on the night from the likes of Little fix (Little Mix), Rule the World (Take That), Kelly O’Brien (Dolly Parton) and Donna Marie (Lady Gaga).
Hosted by TV comedian Patrick Monohan, guests enjoyed a freshly prepared three course meal by Athena’s own in house team of chefs, a silent auction raising money for the NTMAs official charities Rainbows Hospice and Global Make Some Noise, and finally a live music finale by Totally Tina as Tina Turner.
