Welcome to Athena

We are the Midlands' most unique event venue

DESIGNED TO HOST EVENTS

Designed by architect Robert Arthur Bullivant in 1936, the iconic Odeon Cinema opened in Leicester in 1938. Once a grand single-screen cinema, it later became a four-screen venue before closing in 1997. Reimagined and reopened as Athena in 2005, this Art Deco landmark now combines its rich heritage with modern facilities to host exceptional events.
