We now also have on-site private parking for 120 cars, making getting to and from your event quick and easy.

  • Can I view Athena?

    To truly experience the splendour of the venue, we would strongly recommend viewing. All to do is call the office on 0116 2626556 or email contact@athenacb.co.uk and one of our team will book you in for an appointment.

  • Do you have AV on site?

    We have an extensive AV in-house system.  We are constantly updating our technology so please contact us for our latest specification.

  • Can we bring our own AV?

    Yes you can bring in external equipment.

  • Do you have on site catering?

    Yes, we have an experienced and award-winning team of talented in-house chefs who love nothing more than delivering fresh and flavoursome food. Our team will cater for all of your guests including allergies and dietary requirements.

  • Can I get WiFi at the venue?

    Yes, our venue is equipped with super-fast complimentary fibre WiFi.

  • What are the floor plans & dimensions of rooms?

  • Can I provisionally book the venue?

    We understand that there is a lot to coordinate before you can confirm the venue, so feel free to call or email us to provisionally hold a date whilst you make arrangements.

  • How do I confirm my booking?

    To confirm the date, we require a signed contract and deposit as agreed in the contract. Flexible payment terms can be agreed on request.

  • Can we set up the day before the event?

    If you would like to use the day prior to your event, this would require a booking and an additional cost.

  • Do you have accommodation on site?

    No, we do not have on site accommodation, however we do have multiple hotels within walking distance of the venue. Please contact us for a list if required.

  • Can I park at Athena?

    Yes, Athena has a surface car park located onsite on Queen Street (LE1 1QD).  Additional spaces are available in the NCP car park on Rutland Street (LE1 1TQ), located directly opposite the venue, and tickets for this car park can be validated within the venue for £8 for 24hrs of parking.

  • Are there cloakroom facilities available?

    Yes cloakroom facilities are available at the venue, this is free of charge.
