Athena Kicks off 2023 in Paris for the Vet Ball
This Moulin Rouge themed evening brought a taste of France to Leicester’s cultural quarter!
After a busy Christmas period, Athena reopened its doors this week to the University of Nottingham’s Vets for their annual Vet Ball. This year’s theme was Moulin Rouge, which, coupled with Athena’s art-deco architecture and a 15 ft tall Eiffel Tower prop, truly made attending the event feel like a trip through the theatres of Paris in the early 1900s.
Over 400 aspiring Vets enjoyed a 3 course meal and lively entertainment in Athena’s thematic cinema suite, before ending the night with a disco and a promise to return next year.
